Tutoring Works Plus is the affordable solution for all of your tutoring needs. We teach all students from kindergarten through adult in math, reading, writing, and the sciences. Our philosophy and focus is to improve a student’s confidence and grades in school. We also prepare students and clients for SAT, standardized tests, real estate exams, nursing exams and offer workshops based on your needs.  

Tutoring Works Plus is locally owned and operated by passionate certified educators who understand that not all students learn at the same level. Some students need a push to catch up, while others need an additional challenge to stay ahead.  Regardless of the student’s level, we propel them forward by using a combination of their school curriculum and our materials. With our exclusive 3 to 1 student/teacher ratio, we ensure that each student receives the individual support they require and pride ourselves on our constant communication between instructors, students, parents, and teachers.  We can also combine online tutoring with in-center tutoring (hybrid tutoring) for the ultimate in flexibility, affordability, and skill building!

We are a DE State Approved Supplemental Services Provider serving all of Delaware and surrounding areas. We serve and work with students in all local districts, including Appoquinimink, Brandywine, Capital, Colonial, Christina, Red Clay, and Smyrna School Districts. We also serve all of the local private schools. Our curriculum is aligned with the Delaware State Standards and our instructors are all well qualified in their subject areas with extensive initial and ongoing training. We love what we teach!

Tutoring Works Plus has over 17 years of experience with 2 locations in Central to Northern Delaware.  Our Bear location is in the Fox Run Shopping Center and our Kirkwood Hwy location is in Woodmill Corporate Center (next to the Marshalls Plaza at Limestone Rd).  We also provide tutoring at local libraries, your business, or your home. Specialty workshops are available for all occasions and subjects, including study skills, motivation, mentorship and more!
